Chapter Two
I thought it was just "normal" and that everyone had the same attitude as did I when I was young, but in telling this story and looking at actual pictures of my early childhood I discovered just how different I was from others.
It seemed natural that I would "work" in the family activities -- those activities designed to improve our survival such as planting and harvesting -- not only for my own family, but it was just as natural for ME to feel the same level of responsibility to my village.
In other words I developed a sense of "family" that extended beyond my parents and siblings. My "family" extended to our village.
The consequences of that attitude as even it broadened and I matured have been a very strong feeling of love for my fellowman!
How this came to be and the further consequences are the subject of this Chapter.
